Aloha from 1898...

On this day in 1898 Hawaii was annexed into the USA.

A good move I might say... still my favorite place to chill and still a place I would love to live for a few years to enjoy the sights, sounds, food and culture.

I miss the fresh pineapple that you can purchase in every store and roadside.   I can live of the sweet stuff and when you add some of the many fresh fish from around the islands I am in heaven! 

This year we had a few seniors make the Pacific hop for a vacation and more still going for a grad gift. I'll be thinking about ya!!!
