Grandma's Got the Kids!

It's that time of year when families travel to see grandparents and show off the newest offspring. Many times grandma wants a special image to remember their time with the little ones so they make the call for an appointment.  Here are a couple thoughts to make your experience a joy and your photos the best ever.

1. Allow some travel relax time if possible. Photo shoots the day they arrive do not always turn out well. Give the kids a day or two to acclimate to the new people and surrounds.

2. Mornings are best for most little kids but they need a full tank to get into the session. Make the little guys before you come!

3. Warn Mom BEFORE she arrives to bring clothing that will look good together. Casual or formal are both fine but usually not in the same shot.

4. Let us know how long you will be in town. Often we can have proofs ready the same day and if need be within minutes after your session.
