Two MORE Waterfalls Near Redding
Folks have been asking what gear I take on these little hikes to the local falls this last month. Really nothing too fancy. My Canon Mark11's with lenses from 16mm-105 plus my Infrared Canon body and enough water for the daughter and I to make the trip.
The fully loaded camera backpack weighs in at just under 40 pounds while the solid steel Majestic tripod with a custom Panorama head is a bruising 40+ pounds alone! Going up hill means there is a bit of huffing and puffing with the heart racing but downhill is a glide.......
Couple angles of the Crystal Creek Falls... and a vid of me schelping the final steps to the top of Whiskeytown falls..... not my best view BTW!
We are continuing to work out the bugs and learning curve of High Def Video. I expect by the time Senior 2011 season rolls in early next month we will be rocking!
