October is My Favorite Month

What Makes October Great

Finally it starts to cool down and the leaves begin the color transformation to red, orange and gold. The apple trees up in Round Mtn should be heavy with ripe fruit and the fresh apple cider will be churning from the apple press. Aside from chocolate chip cookies my other vise is deep dish apple pie.  I enjoy the Costco version but we have a family friend that makes the BEST pie ever. He blends three varieties of apples and makes the most perfect crust ever.... dang... I am hungry!

Seniors are still rolling thru the studio for last minute sessions.  Those with braces that finally came off, bad haircuts repair and those just lost and confused. We may still be able to squeeze in a few more 2010 students but you better act fast... yearbook deadlines begin tomorrow!
