While Redding has been soaking in days of unrelenting rain I spent all of last week on the Sapphire Princess cruise ship and three ports in Mexico with a wonderful bride and great looking groom. We enjoyed perfect weather in the low 80's, had ideal service on the ship enjoying the marvelous food and brought back photos that will be treasured forever along with the stories in their making!
My bride was a stunner! Over 6'3" tall she glowed with grace, personality and a wonderful confidence that brought cheers and applause everywhere we went for the photo shoots. It was like traveling with a Hollywood celebrity getting attention on the beach, in the Cabo Marina and the high rise apartments we used for backgrounds.
Their story of finding each other was fit for a big screen blockbuster. Starting many years ago as neighbors Kathleen found and returned Steve's brother's lost dog starting a friendship that after years led to marriage.
While we no longer do weddings in Redding I am occasionally available
by referral or as a previous client for destination weddings where it
could be fun to make unique images. Mexico, Italy, Greece, any warm climate with great architecture for shooting and either a cruise ship or inclusive resort would be considered. This rare service is open ONLY the first 5 months of the year before we get overrun with high school seniors and family portraits.
It's great to be back (but more fun to be on a beautiful location with a fun couple)
